Wrong. Church goers of both demoninations vote republican, hypocrites than never go to church are reliable democrat voters. The biggest hypocrites of all are blacks, who give the most anti-Christian president in history over 90% of their votes because of welfare and the color of his skin. To them the free stuff trumps the word of God.

Catholics have always voted democrat with 5 to 6 exceptions, (depending on the source on 1956).
Protestants have always voted against the democrats, with the exception of 1932, 1936, and 1964.
