Geeeze. Talk about defeatist!

The left had someone to vote FOR. He promised every left wing interest group something for nothing. All the scrounges came running for their goodie.

Romney had a very liberal past. No one trusted him. An equal number of Republicans came out to vote as the parasites, but they just had a few more.

The problem is the Republican in the beltway always think a "moderate" is the way to win an elections, and they're always wrong. The working people, those who slave to pay for the entire Washington empire as well as the entire democrat base have no one to vote FOR. What difference, to them, does it make to vote? No one speaks on their behalf. They'll still get up in the morning and pay, pay, pay. Nothing would change for the slaves no matter who won.

If the Republicans want to take this country back, they're going to have to start freeing the tax slaves. There are millions and millions of us out here just waiting for a Moses(R) to come along.

Actually, I am starting to view this as a good thing. A Romney presidency wouldn’t have been our “salvation”; indeed, it would’ve only been a long string of disappointments, I am afraid.

No, as I have believed for some time now, and only feel more confident about now, this is a battle of the states. Arkansas has both of its state houses now controlled by the GOP—this is a first since Reconstruction. Other red states are very red, and their governorships and legislatures are hunkering down for a fight. I don’t see this as a fold-up shop and go home kind of defeat; instead, it is a moment where Americans will start putting energy and focus in their LOCAL level of government and fight against Washington from that perspective.

There is still a lot of fight left.

It's more than that. The beltway Republicans ARE moderates/liberals themselves, and are willing to risk losing elections to advance their causes. When they say we need to be moderate/liberal to win, they're lying and just trying to push their own moderate/liberal agenda for personal reasons, not to win. The Republican elites are as much of an enemy to our cause as the Democrats.

Agreed on the "tax slaves" issue. It's amazing how many people do not notice or care how much tax they pay, especially income tax. They are numb to it. We need a taxpayer revolt in this country. It shouldn't be that hard to engineer with the right messaging.

The GOP elites are now repeating ALL the same reasons that they used to justify nominating Romney in the first place! That we need to be more moderate, inclusive, not run on social issues, etc. It’s ridiculous. The primary voters just got done following their advice right off a cliff. How stupid do they think we are?
