I’ve posted this story before here on Free Republic, but I’ll post it again....
Shortly after the break-up of the former Soviet Union, there was an international conference which was attended by many high-ranking military officers, including those from the United States and Russia.
During a break in the meetings, the attendees had informal chats with one another in small groups. One of the Americans asked a Russian general if the Soviet Union had ever seriously considered invading the United States during the Cold War. The Russian laughed and said, “Oh, no! You people have too many guns over there!”
“Oh, no! You people have too many guns over there!”
And WOLVERINES!
