My nephew was laid off from Motorola after 20-some years....one of 4000 layoffs in the company's staff......with more in the offing.

His whole department was moved lock, stock and barrel to Poland.

There’s still a Motorola? (I was working there when we met on that FReeper cruise. Had been for 20 years.) The only Motorola I know of is “Motorola Solutions.”
