I just deactivated my FaceBook account. Just wanted to let you all know. You’re the ones I see on their all the time. Also, I have Comcast. I was thinking of going to NetFlix, but we need comcast for internet access and we have our phone service through them too - a bundle. I’d love to get off of comcast. Any suggestions? We don’t want dialup and we don’t have Verizon internet service available to us where we live.

Gotcha. I want to grab a few links from our prepper group, too, before those links start to disappear. I suggest checking out the established groups outside of FB, they’re nicely organized and have loads of very instructive videos.

As far as Comcast I hear ya! Check with A.Morgan about the Roku. It gets everything although some have pay per view or small monthly fee.
Netflix works for us and my friend who was visiting from Ohio. I also like Hulu very much. Monthly fee but more up to date regular tv shows, usually only a day behind. My son likes...ummm...Vudu I think. He does the PPV for movies.
We are running the numbers to see what works for us. A problem may be that internet to our building is sometimes bandwidth challanged. We can’t move up in bandwidth until new cable is in place.
