You are correct, the Ford Foundation is (now) separate from the company.

That said, this owner of a long, long line of mostly Fords just bought a Japanese car (made in America, but non-union).

Lots of reasons, but certainly one is that the Ford would have sent some my money to the fungi at UAW (and thus to the rodent Dems).

(That said, Ford is a zillion times more preferable than g.m. or chrysler...icky)

Do you have electricity; IBEW? Do you send or receive packages UPS; Teamsters or FedEx; ALPA?

My Dad's been a ford man since he purchased a used 56 F-100 Ford Pickup.

But he wouldn't give you a plug nickel for the new ones. He sez they've cheapened them up, the suspension sucks and all the electronic doodads and computer crap under the hood make them nearly impossible to work on.

We are looking for a 60's model Ford pickup and we are gonna fix it up. Not for shows and stuff but an actual work truck that you can fix if it breaks down.
