I’ve previously been a fan of Christie’s, but he’s straight-up lying. He could have thanked Obama without being an obsequious ass. He could have easily gone to the Romney rally 20 miles away. I don’t think it made any difference in the election, but I don’t want to hear him lie any more.
He’ll probably end up leaving the party like Crist in Florida, blaming everyone for problems that he brought on himself.

You gave Obama the aura of being “presidential” not to mention the fact that as a Republican governor you went weeping to the federal government for help.
I’m not saying that FEMA shouldn’t help, but the impression is that the hypocritical Republicans who hate the federal government know that it is the only one that can help.
