Japan Is Going Down Again
Joe Weisenthal
November 8, 2012
The selloff continues.
After a hard fall Wednesday, and a decent fall today in the US, Japan is down again.
The Nikkei is currently off about 1%.
US futures are ticking higher, but this is how yesterday night looked as well, so it's too soon to know whether the post-election bleeding has stopped.

When I lived in Japan, the saying was that when Wall Street sneezed, then Japan caught a cold. Zer0 is going to do even more damage to their economy than he is to ours.
I think Wall Street has a cold...
Burn baby burn. Let’s get this collapse going. I want Leftists to suffer. If you’re conservative and still in the market, I’m sorry, but really you should have got out long ago.
Hope it’s not the flu.
Yet in polls almost 80% hoped Obama would win re-election . Dumbasses .
Nope the 35040 hour flu
Ebola.
The way things are looking, Wall Street may well catch an old fashioned Soviet Union leader type “cold”.
Energy and financial stocks really lost, healthcare doing better. I’m glad I didn’t move some money into energy thinking a Romney win. When Bernanke prints even more money it should help stocks, until it doesn’t.
Really? Why is Obama so popular with the Japanese?
In addition, the Japanese have a knee-jerk preference for the incumbent because they like Americans. They favored Jimmy Carter as well, but they ended up liking Ronald Reagan way, way better.
They are not as stupid as Europeans who like socialist candidates because they like socialism. The older generation in particular understands which philosophy rebuilt them after World War II.
I know this is an old post but I want to reply anyway. Japan’s economy isn’t great but it is still easier to make money than in the U.S. The unemployment rate in Japan is only half of the rate of the U.S. I think the U.S. will go down before Japan. The states are beyond repair now. I used to want to move back but I don’t care anymore. Maybe things will get better but I doubt it based on the huge number of stupid people there. I hope I am wrong.
