Once upon a time there were dozens of little dairies and creameries in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Now those little dairies and creameries have congomerated into a few large corporate ones and the rest of the land is now strip malls. Progress.

A very large coop dairy was located just west of the Twin Cities in Bongards, MN. Into the 80s it was a prominent milk and cheese supplier to Mpls/St. Paul grocery stores. Today, it squeaks along with one line of sliced white cheese which is sold to Burger King.
