Ten or Twelve thousand votes is not close. This race was never close.

“Ten or Twelve thousand votes is not close. This race was never close.”

Democrat Maffei was up 2,000 votes and Buerkle refused to concede until the 14,000 absentee ballots had been counted.

Suddenly, errors were “found” and 2,000 votes were taken away from Buerkle and given to Maffei. Despite Maffei self-declaring himself the winner, Buerkle has refused to concede until absentee votes are counted.

Now, the Democrat is up 10 to 12 thousand votes and he has the national press declaring him the winner without the benefit of counting 14,000 absentee ballots. Why shouldn’t all votes be counted before a winner is declared?
