Breitbart ^

Posted on 11/08/2012 8:12:42 AM PST by Perdogg

The Breitbart News Network/Judicial Watch post-election survey released today is a warning to those who have argued, in the wake of the 2012 election, that the way for the Republican Party to broaden its appeal is to compromise on core principles of limited government and the rule of law.

EXACTLY. What does the GOP become, Dem lite?

Besides, regardless of what the conventional wisdom and rah rah of the left has been over the past 24 hours, the result is the Dems had a far less turnout then 2008....or as BB King used to sing: The thrill is gone.

The GOP lost this election on a few things but most of all lack of motivation by a significant group of its base, namely, the religious who would not vote for a Morman and the Paulites who took their marbles and went home. Yup they made a statement all right. The statement is we can shove Oturd down your throat because you did not play by our play book.

One area of change being foisted is the gop must become more inclusive. By that I guess that means we need become socialists or give in to those who want open borders. The result of doing that is what, dem lite and untimely destruction of the nation which we are on a downhill march toward anyway, so why hasten it?

That is how I see it and I am no political scientist.

I’d MUCH rather go down FIGHTING, principles intact, than compromise or expand any base. Preferably with THEIR blood.

agree to raise debt ceiling only on a quarterly basis and small increments. The house GOP should extract a pound of flesh for each time it raises the debt ceiling. Grow a pair, Mr. Boehner!

The left is using the old "Elections have consequences!" to argue that the repubs need to go along with O since he won.

Well guess what idiots!

The republican congress critters WON their elections TOO! I hope those republicans in congress realize that also.

What would it take to fire Boehner? An uprising from the conservative base in the house? Well, there are more moderate Repubs./Rhinos so I can’t imagine Mr. Boehner being fired and replaced by a REAL conservative.

What it would take to fire Boehner is for conservative voters to melt the switchboards. I already called a GOP House Member who was talking about compromise on the radio yesterday morning, and told his office to knock it off. Compromise isn’t what we want. These next few weeks is the time, to express the discontent with GOP leadership and demand CHANGE.

By voting for McCain in 2008 (I did) and by voting for Romney in 2012 (I did not), many, many conservatives proved that they are quite willing to compromise.
