Yes, that is a large part of what happened. Look at the exit polls. The voters for Obama gave emotional answers or answers that showed a false sense of reality.

When the voters voted for Obama because of “Sandy”, or because of the made up “war on women”, Rush nailed it when he said that that Obama was after the “moron” vote. To say it with nicer words “low information voters”. It worked. These are the voters that are particularly vulnerable to the MSM’s propaganda.

For a portion of the electorate, reelecting Obama is like the abused girlfriend who wants to give the boyfriend another shot. They just cannot face reality and cannot let go.
