“What physician is going to work 70 hours a week, pay their staff, take call, pay malpractice insurance and then get paid 40% for what they do? With taxes their take home will be .25 or less cents on the dollar?

My GP just sent notice he is retiring, he is nowhere near retirement age. I guess he just wants to protect his nest egg and not put up with Obamacare.

Yesterday I overheard a conversation between a physician and a couple, husband and wife. The husband talked loud enough so I could hear him clearly. He had been going to this physician for years and just learned yesterday that his doctor was retiring and closing his practice. The physician looked quite young. He did not look even close to 60.

The couple is probably on medicaid or medicare and they will have a hard time finding a new physician. It’s going to be a mess! A very sad mess.

Mine too, a month ago. He saw the writing on the wall. This is starting to devastate this great country but the freeloaders and ignorants in Washington will always have their top shelf health care.
