Many people we spoke with were very upset by the signs.

"I don't think it's right," says Eggleston. "It's very childish," said Joseph Bede.

One customer posted a sign telling the owner he lost that person's business. Another customer says she won't be back either.

After 13 years as a loyal customer, Willie Thornhill says she's done.

Thornhill says, "I think this is no place to have signs in your window if you expect to do business in Bedford. I will not be a customer again with this company."

But some people agreed with the owner.

"I think it speaks the truth," Amanda Gordon proclaims.

James Higginbotham agrees with Gordon and the store owner. "He's right. The small businesses....I look for them to be closing."

As a South-Western Virginian...I hope the good people in Bedford will give this business owner the same show of support we gave the bakery (Crum and Get It) when he wouldn’t allow Biden a photo op at his store over here in Radford.

My brother-in-law owns a small construction business here in Indiana and he’s already laying people off because he will not be able to afford Obama care. Another man I know who owns a restaurant and hotel in Illinois interrupted a vacation to begin selling the hotel due to Obama care. He had run the numbers and knew he could not survive as a result.

Those ignorant Obama supporters won’t give this man their business anymore because they don’t agree with his politics as a conservative. Yet the store owner was willing to continue to server them whether they supported the socialist loser or not. So, who is full of prejudice in this situation? Could this be an example of why we have so much trouble in Washington proving which side holds the gridlock on so many problems?

Oh how precious! One of the little babies that voted for the Nanny state to take care of him is complaining about childishness.

Bedford, Virginia.....isn’t that where the first wave of soldiers who landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day were from?? Didn’t they experience like 90% casualty rate???

i think they have as much right to express their dissatisfaction as say, cindy sheehan....

When people have less money, jeweltry is one of those things that you can do without. These people that won’t support this guy’s business were never his cutomers in the first place.

Probably an Obama voter, who focuses on Big Bird. For those customers who won't be back, it is likely that this business will not stay in business anyway due to economy and 0care regulations, so their arguments show their stupidity. I'm so sorry for this business owner who obviously cares about his employees.

We, bought another business, on Nov,1st. It allowed us to expand and serve larger companies and corporations, most of our clientele had been small business.

None of us thought when we bought it that obama would win. Now it seems that this may become the balk of our business, it may have saved us because so many of our long time customers will not survive the next few years. A lot of people have congratulating us on this and we are proud of being able to do it. Yet there is still a bad taste in our mouths knowing so many of our friends and long time customers will not be as fortunate.

I have personally sworn to not support any business or person whatsoever that endorsed or voted for Obama.

I will ask the store owner. I will ask the potential or existing client or customer. If they voted to destroy my country then I will cut them out of my life.

I don’t believe the bs that people were upset. People should be upset with how Warren, McCaskell and others were elected. They should ask how Obama became President in the first place. He came out of nowhere with no id and very little known history. He has never won an election fairly only with fraud. They should ask why the GOP entered into an under the table agreement to re elect him. They should ask how is Valerie Jarrett involved and Is she Obama’s Hiss? Obama should nor be allowed to take his second term until this fraud is investigated. They should ask which big money people helped him. Hitler didn’t come to power by himself. The big banks like Rothschild helped him. Even parts of the Royal Family. I wonder who in America helped Hitler. Hitler was an uneducated house painter. I suspect Obama is worse.

I’ll bet the “very upset” people were Democrats.

My business died Tuesday night.
I needed a Romney-Ryan win to continue and I believe the vote fraud machine of the demoncrat party stole this election.
I close June 1st.
End of a 20 year old business.

The war on women is a dem war. They killed my business these last 4 years. It’s over.
