Now, in 2014, 33 Senators are up for election. 20 are DEMs. And, the following have no clout and are from RED or basically patriotic states:
Begich [AK]
Pryor [AR]
Landrieu [LA]
Baucus [MT]
Shaheen [NH]
Hagan [NC]
Johnson [SD]
Warner [VA]
Thats 8 DEMs.
If the House were to vote impeachment proceedings against Obama [it only takes a simple majority], these 8 would be pressed hard by their constituents to convict. It only takes a simple majority in the Senate.
Then, we have President Biden [shudder ...] ...
If that were to happen, impeachment and we get Biden, who is up for the VP slot in that event? Reid?
Obama would never be impeached, even if he murdered a man on TV.
