Events don’t matter. That’s old-fashioned campaigning from the Pony Express era. We need to reach millions, not thousands. Flinging a few ads on Minnesota TV doesn’t matter, especially in the cable/DVR era. You need an entrenched ground game in the states you want to win and we didn’t have that.
We didn’t have “Charisma”. It is a popularity contest. Issues don’t matter anymore.
