Stephanopoulos On What's Next For Republicans: Possible Civil War (video)

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos talks what President Obama's re-election means for the country on "World News" with Diane Sawyer.

DIANE SAWYER, ABC NEWS: So give me your bottom line on the Republicans now. We talked about the soul-searching, what do they do next?

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Soul-searching, perhaps a civil war. You've got to look at this party right now. They have won the popular vote only once since 1988, in the presidential race. And it was probably best summed up by Al Cardenas, the head of the American Conservative Union (ACU). He said the party is too old, too white and too male. They lost young women, single women by almost 40 points, Hispanics by almost 40 points, blacks by more than 80 points. This is a party that has to create a much bigger tent.

Yep, Paul and Gingrich actually ran campaigns based on bold ideas. One had some flawed policies, and the other some personal flaws, but there is no doubting their overall sincerity and passion. I’m sure some people migrated to Gary Johnson out of frustration. I think the real reason Johnson did better than the Libertarian normally does is that he’s actually a legitimate politician, with a record that is enviable. “Governor Veto” was awesome for his state. He vetoed more bills than all of his 49 contemporaries combined! He’s basically a younger Ron Paul (though pro choice), who has been a chief executive. He stands for something, as do Gingrich and Paul. Romney didn’t stand for anything other than the proposition that he’s a better manager than Obama. That is undoubtedly true, but not enough.

Hispanics - Amnesty for all

In the not too distant future Chinese immigrants will easily outnumber Hispanic immigrants.

When possible Republicans should do business with other Republicans.

Like they’d ever be spun favorably by the MSM even if they were the same as the libtard democrats.

Stephi is a bonehead. Civil War? No, because a civil war is where different factions fight for control of the central government. It would be more like the war between the states (called the Civil War incorrectly) in which some people merely wish to secede and be left alone. Red states need to divorce the blue and let them sink in their own mire.

Single women - substituting govt for a husband - stability. Single women look to govt as to what to do, and women generally are more submissive to authority figures.

Latinos - amnesty / easy citizenship for their vote. Reclaiming the southwest.

Blacks - never ending welfare and favoritism. Reparations not called reparations, and they don’t want that gravy train to ever end.

Best dang idea I heard all day!

There has to be some movement to drown these fools in their own filth. And while we’re at it, use the other tried and true alinsky method of ridicule. I honestly can’t look at a lefty without want to mock them for being so dang dense!
