The disturbing thing about this election is that it was so TRIBAL. The electorate defined itself by its race, gender, sexual orientation. When you’re dealing with a tribal electorate, they are impervious to persuasion, they simply vote their tribe.

I have little reason, therefore, to think that the slight majority of the electorate that voted for Obama will ever “come calling” at any point for conservatism.

The only way back to power for conservatives at this point is to hope that the Left fragments. This might happen if the economy and markets force austerity measures like in Europe and Obama’s thieving constituency is fighting over the diminishing pie.

To hope that we can persuade them with sweet reason, however, is a fool’s errand I fear.

True enough. However, reality is about to smash all of us in the face like a 2 x 4. When the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of the year, the ZeroCare tax increases begin in conjunction with the mandatory federal spending cuts, the Obamabots will have to face up to an unavoidable economic wall.

Doubtless, the Won will tell us it's all because of Bush and the Republicans. We still know the truth.

I am not convinced that all is lost. I am of the opinion that the red states should secede and let zero and his taker supporters try to make it without OUR money. It is the conservatives who provide the funding for the left's largesse and, if we divorce the blue states and take our money, conservatism, entrepreneurship and industriousness with us, we will return to a free country and strong economy while the blue states falter and discover the true joy of socialism.

IMO, that's our only option. The rule of law in America is dead as is the Constitution. Hoping to stop or control zero's disastrous agenda via the Congress is a waste of time and effort. Whatever the House does, the Senate will ignore to support the disaster that is Obama.
