Social engineering or Nation building in the name of “democracy” is not going to work on Islamists. Democracy with no rights is not anything I beleive in, want to pay for or lose American life over.
Saddam had “democracy.” The election, before his demise, had 100% of the vote for Saddam in Iraq. Even the families of the men he put through a wood shredder “voted” for Saddam.
