Adequate or not the people have voted to deep six it. What legitimate authority does the Constitution have without the support of the people?
Obama may be and probably is punishment to America for 75,000,000+ abortions.. and other crimes..
Just a symptom of moral degradation.. that America deserves..

Not just The Founding Fathers. My parents who were part of The Greatest Generation and both of whom served in WWII, wouldn’t recognize this Country.
That one sentence speaks to the truth of our situation. Whatever we are now, or will become in the United States, will never be what we once were. That age has passed....a new people have been elected with new & different ideas & ways that our founding Fathers did not share or approve of. Our job is to now find out how to survive in this new world.This post-constitutional America.

Half a million more votes in the right places and we would have had it. A turnout like 2004 and we would have had it. We had the tools and the numbers, but too many sat this one out.
And here’s another prescient and prophetic quote from John Adams:

When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it ” John Adams to wife Abigail.
We have to believe that God has a reason for allowing this man to be president for another four years, as painful as it is.
Look at it this way - if we are upset, imagine how God must feel having been treated so shabbily by Obama.
Jarrett and BO speak of revenge, but it is the Almighty Himself who will get the last and final crack at vengeance.
IF this election was the referendum on Judeo-Christian values as many of our finest had cast it; then the devastating results should cause great reflection in people of faith.
We should be repentant of our deficient catechesis; of failing to "commend to others the faith that is within us", to borrow a phrase from one prayer of confession.
And while our catechesis might still be adequate in "red counties" otherwise known as "flyover country" those same bi-colored maps reveal an utter failure of evangelism in our coastal cities.
So let us take yesterday's failure as tomorrow's challenge: to impart "the faith once delivered to the saints" to those regions where to many. God's Holy Name is but a curse word.
There are few statements, I'll bet, from our Founders -- and the Civil War era -- that do not apply today.

The Constitution is more than adequate thank you very much. It is the electorate the people who are lacking. It is our job to protect the Constitution and educate the electorate. Now get busy please and quit saying silly things
