I agree that the conclusions of the headline are wrong here. If I was to venture a guess, Boehner is going to propose the Romney plan for lowering taxes and closing loopholes. Now, if he has a pair, he’ll make sure that such a change takes place concurrently with deep cuts.
It’s all about positioning folks. Let the left appear petty. I have confidence that eventually the message that we need adults to run this place will sink in.
