Goodbye America
Tea Party Tribune ^ | 2012-11-07 07:57:09 | mrcurmudgeon

By Mr. Curmudgeon:

Along a ridge at a cemetery, a stone wall marks the farthest advance of Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. Pickett's Charge at the battle of Gettysburg marked what historians call the high watermark of the Confederacy, the crowded moment when the war to preserve America's constitutional system would prevail or die. Lincoln's Army of the Potomac held the stone wall and stopped Lee's attempt to preserve the South's slaveocracy.

Tuesday night, America's political right and the Republican Party hit a stone wall and, like Lee's army, they will never recover. In spite of extraordinary get-out-the-vote efforts by the Tea Party and Republican activists, President Obama sailed to an easy victory over his rival Mitt Romney. Election night analysis showed that access to free contraception and abortion-on-demand were key elements explaining Obama's victory. Suburban women accomplished what King George III, the Kaiser, Hitler and Stalin failed to do - end America.

Americans - who we were told opposed ObamaCare overwhelmingly - voted to sustain the monstrosity by re-electing the president who fathered it and will shield the malformed monster as its tentacles begin unfolding in the years to come. Government-run, well, everything is here to stay.

Take the wife to that fancy restaurant for dinner and the kids to Disneyland - give them memories to cherish, because the country we know is done.

President Obama has been given the "flexibility" to do to America's nuclear deterrent what he promised his friends in Moscow ... whatever that may be. And frightened establishment Republicans in Congress will work with the President to raise the debt ceiling, spending and taxes to remain relevant and "mainstream." And the "payback," as White House adviser Valerie Jarrett warned the president's opponents, can begin in earnest.

America's Great Depression II will continue to deepen as the nation piles on more debt and the Federal Reserve prolongs its program of quantitative easing. Though you may be unemployed, with your children skipping meals, you can take comfort in media reports that detail the wonders of our "sluggish recovery."

Four years from now, it won't matter if the reincarnated Ronald Reagan replaces Obama, the nation will have passed the event horizon of insolvency, falling into an inescapable and endless black hole.

Goodbye America ... it was nice knowing you.

Looking at it from the viewpoint of an American in the State of Washington, yesterday’s event was definently not for the betterment of my state or the nation. Smoking pot is now legal, so kids can now smoke pot openingly in the streets, gay’s and lesbian’s can now legally get married. And, I suppose the Catholic Church can now be sued by every gay and lesbian couple that refuses to marry them. Every extreamist left-wing d-RAT congressman and Senator has been voted back in office. And a new Governor who is more extream then the privious one has been voted into office.
Seems to me we are witnessing right before our eyes the fastest decline, corruption and degeneration of American society. This is definently not a turn for the better.
All I can say is ‘GOOD-BY AMERICA!’.

ONLY ONE logical tactic left to anyone that loves America..
and is political representative..

AND THAT IS... aid the democrats in every way to make America go BANKRUPT...
NO...... Force America to go BANKRUPT...

When they want to SPEND.. mock them for not wanting to spend MORE.... FORCE THEM to spend more..
Eventually the whole house of cards will come down..
Faster hopefully.. REVERSE tactics..

Leave, just go all of you who think the American dream is dead. (mrcurmudgeon) You are saying that every man, woman and child who has given their life for this country did it for NOTHING!!!!

No, they gave their lives for America to survive and prosper. And in their time, it did and those of us here appreciate that effort and sacrifice. But unfortunately, the new majority of Americans don't feel that way. They could care less for those sacrifices and those of us remaining will live in our memories of a better place that they will never know.

What else would you have me do to educate these window-licking looters? Hold a gun to their heads and tell them what to think?

It is not your fault in the slightest. The problem is we who believe so strongly in what America has always stood for now find ourselves being forced, as if being committed to an insane asylum, to live amongst a growing majority of lunatics who despise and hate everything that is good about this Country. Today the media is full of vindictiveness counseling us that we have been and continue to the lunatic fringe and they are the sane ones. In other words, the asylum we are committed to is run by lunatics. Not a healthy situation to be in for sure.

It is going to be a hard hard road to get America back. I read Latinos told Obama today, you owe us, pass immigration. So over the next 4 years, we will have even more illegal immmigrants to vote Democrat, to suck Social Security, SSI, SSDI benefits dry, to obtain jobs that the Dems and Obama wants foreigners to ‘fill’. Imagine 100 million illegal immigrants over next 4 years that will vote with the Democrats. How can we ever get our country back?

We will be fighting the Democratic love-fest media, illegals, Rino candidates, limp wristed Republicans for leaders in Congress.

We are fighting the Repblican/Rino’s who allow debates to led by Progresives instead of demanding Conservative mediators, etc.

Yes long long road to get America back.....not being negative just stating reality.

No, it is not our fault at all. We have been plenty vocal and very articulate about the principles of liberty and their origins in our law. Those principles have been rejected and the moochers do not have ignorance as an excuse.

When a sane person finds himself in an asylum being run by the loons he has to ask himself what his options are and what is the most prudent course for survival. Negotiating in good faith with the loons wouldn't seem to me to be a rational or safe plan.

No guns to the head needed. Simple ecconomics. Supply and demand really. What's going to happen to the demand when the supply runs out? Communism? Not much else is there. Will America fall into this without a massive civil war? I doubt it, but then I am living In a dream land aren't I?

I have no idea what you are talking about now. You asked me about what 'we' should do to sway people's minds. Now you are saying that economic circumstances will change their minds. If that is true then they are creating the conditions to change their own minds. The moochers are in power and setting the agenda. What part do I (or 'we') have in that?

I said nothing to you about living in a dream but if you think that the people did not just vote for a lawless extra-Constitutional government perhaps you are.

Another pity party.

Kiss my USMC ass, Mr. Curmudgeon.

In fact, get the F out of my country, wimp. Book a cabin on a French tramp steamer to Normandy, and tell all the men buried there that you’re a coward, totally unworthy of their sacrifice. No, don’t do that, Mr. Curmudgeon. You’re not worthy to walk in their footsteps. Go lick the hand of your slavemaster who holds your chain.

I’ve had enough of this surrender crap tonight. And for all you FR wimps who agree with this essay, FU.

Remember those who brought this about. Remember them well.

Yup. I sure hope they don't get upset when the *revenge* reaches levels that would make even Quentin Tarentino blanche.

I guess I went of on a bit of a tangent. My answer was more long term, if nothing happens to prevent it.

I believe the biggest problem is ignorance which is the result of education or rather the lack of it. A country this size cannot support socialism and maintain the present standard of living. America is still a free nation and over taxed over burdened people will either fit or leave, sooner or later the money pit will dry up.

As it stands, the US is on the tipping point of going down the road to Communism, one where the government will take control of just about everything and dictate who gets what and when.

This is happening in a lot of places today and the people of these countries are not happy. You might note that all of the pro commits over here are not from communist countries. So, all of this can be educated into the minds of people. It would not be difficult to counter the pro commie agenda with an equally negative one. In fact it could be quite easy if we become creative.

Socialism / Communism needs one thing above anything else and that is money and lots of it. We are trillions in debt and taxes are set to go through the roof. What if they were not paid.

I do not believe for a moment that this fine country will ever fall into communism, in fact it could be that we fall off the fiscal cliff sooner than later and the hand outs will stop pretty darn quick and then there will be a lot of very angry people, with empty hands. Could get pretty lively for a while.

Many people will always chose the path of least resistance, Santa is running on borrowed time.
