“What I am really excited about is that this is a fundamentally different way of taking feedstocks...”
Right about ‘feedstocks’ is when he should have realized this is a bad idea.
Convert sewage to fuel. Well understood process and plenty of feedstock that is a problem to dispose of.
Because the feedstocks come from plants that take carbon out of the air, putting it back into the air for more plants to take out again, it is considered ‘carbon neutral’.
Never mind the fact that the transportation an fermentation processes use energies that are adding more carbon than you stared with......
I bet what puts the libs in a rage is the fact that they have to base their work from a jew who did it 100 years ago and was also the first president of Israel.
That must burn a few butts at Berkeley...
Bump to read later.
I’m surprised that they even mentioned it in the article........
Sugar fuelled Diesel/electric traction.
[sarc] Can’t think of a better use for Sugar.[/sarc]
Thanks for that post, very interesting.

Actually, that would be very useful. More CO2 means faster plant growth with less water. More CO2 means it will be easier to feed the world.
Screw the greenhouse effect concerns. CO2 is still going up and temperatures have gone down a little over the last 15 years. Man Made Global warming is a hoax.
It is considered “carbon neutral” because the plants convert the CO2 in the air to plant and we burn it and just put it back into the air again. The same carbon over and over again with sunlight changing the CO2 and water into products we can use as fuel. It is neutral because after the plant dies the carbon will decay into CO2 anyway.
I can't believe there are people who still believe in man made global warming, FIFTEEN YEARS!
Thry should get some of the free money from DOE for green energy and go at it.
Their application is probably already in process...
