You see, it was my buddy’s finally-old-enough-to-drink-birthday, and we all headed out for the city. 42nd St was quite tawdry back in the 70’s, but after several hours of bar-hopping, we stopped into what must have once been an off-Broadway theater, and from behind the curtain came a bespangled aspiring starlet......
