Ten House seats have still not been called, with a number of races in California and Arizona holding up a final count for House control.
If every one of these races holds as is, Democrats will net seven House seats this election. But that's a big if, as recounts and legal challenges loom in a number of them.
The closest races are currently for Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.), who trails by 184 votes, Rep. Mike McIntyre (D-N.C.), who clings to a 378-vote lead, and for Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.), who trails by 685 votes.
Reps. Allen West (R-Fla.), Mary Bono Mack (R-Calif.) and Ron Barber (D-Ariz.) all narrowly trail their opponents, while Rep. Dan Benishek (R-Mich.) has a slim lead. Democratic candidates Ann Kirkpatrick and Kyrsten Sinema in Arizona and Julia Brownley in California also have narrow leads.
Keep counting. I know how they’ll wind up...
I live in Minnesota here is how recounts work: Dems keep recounting until they win. Ballots will be found in peoples trunks, behind counters and jammed in machines. The rotten b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s. will cheat until they get their outcome.
An honest recount is one where the Rep. wins.
Democrats win the recounts, especially with Holder’s agency looking on.
