Rep. John Tierney (D-Mass.) narrowly beat Republican challenger Richard Tisei to claim a ninth term.
The GOP hoped Tisei would pick up a seat in left-leaning Massachusetts. An openly gay Republican, Tisei had the support of Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Well at least nobody should say this one was about “the social issues”. This one was about the unions.
If Massachusetts...or the United States...had a *real* Attorney General Tierney would have been in handcuffs long ago.
Glad for this loss.
And they wonder why voters stay home.
