Anyone that says that religion should be removed from political discourse...I say screw you!

Amen to that. Banishing God is exactly what got us here.

I am right here with everyone on this thread.

Dr. John MacArthur, great Bible teacher and preacher (although I don’t subscribe to Calvinism), preached a very straight to the truth matter from Romans, stating not only is this going on socially, but that the Democratic platform officially rejected God from its platform, approves of abortion on demand, and approves of same sex agenda. They don’t just tolerate it, they exalt it as a virtue.

Everyone on here is making points based on Biblical principles. Folks like Neal Boortz, and Joe Scarborough and Mark McKinnon think that we need to modernize, become more progressive, and be more accepting of those things the Bible expressly is against.

If we would just do so, we would pick up votes. That is the real test for Republicans, are we going to become a fiscally secular conservative party, or are we going to try to hold on to Biblical principles and tie our platform to those principles?

For me, I would rather lose every election than to be unfaithful to God. God will judge this country at some point. At least half of our country has rejected God, shaken their fist in his face, exchanged the truth of God for a lie, told him he is irrelevant, if he even exists at all. I fear for our country. But the answer is as much or more spiritual than it is idealogical.
