I stood in line for over an hour and a half to vote last night. Before going into the poll, campaign workers were handing out sample ballots, yellow for democratic candidates and blue for republicans. As I waited in that long line, I had plenty of opportunity to contemplate all the people around me chattering on their iPhones, listening to their iPods, and waiving their yellow ballots. It occurred to me that the yellow ballot was like a fashion accessory, just like those white ear buds, because being a democrat and voting for Obama was seen as the “cool” thing to do. I now truly believe that this is the secret of the appeal the Democratic party has for much of the electorate.

“We now effectively have a Marxist dictator, Barack Obama, who will rule by his decree — the executive order — sitting in the White House.

And we still don’t know, for sure, who he is, where he comes from or who sent him.

Obama will bypass the House of Representatives, which will be unable to check Obama’s actions or impeach him because the progressive Democrats control the Senate. The House can hold hearings and make speeches but they will have no real power. The House can write all the laws they want, but unless it’s a law Obama wants or approves of, it will go nowhere.

Obama will appoint up to four progressives to the Supreme Court, forever altering that body and effectively making the U. S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights null and void. The Second amendment will be the first “right” to go as the progressives have an “infringement” field day.

Eric Holder, Obama’s henchman, has control of the Justice Department and has already filled the department with left-wing ideologues. The law of the land will become the rule of man and enforced selectively.

The DREAM Act will be fully implemented and 10,000,000 or more illegal immigrants — new Democrats — will be granted amnesty and access to the ballot, making the Republican Party irrelevant, and progressive (Marxist-statist) rule will be complete and enduring.

ObamaCare will be fully implemented. The single-payer health system will be a reality and all medicos will become employees and all citizens dependents of the state.

The Luddites dreams of the end of the era of fossil fuels becomes a reality as the country goes “green,” crippling the energy sector and ending our economic power.

Industry will be controlled by oppressive regulation, effectively granting the control of the means of production to the state.

The military will be neutered and used as a tool to enforce the regime’s will on The People. The unions will be Obama’s “brownshirts.” The ObamaMedia will come out of the closet and practice propaganda openly.

More and more once-free citizens will go on the dole, and become dependent on the nanny-state.

There’s not one action, described above, that we haven’t seen Obama take during his first term already.

And that’s just the beginning. As Obama has been quoted as saying, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”

I’m expecting the tide to turn against Obama like it did against Nixon after his 1972 landslide victory. All of the money-printing that kept the economy above water during the election campaign resulted in massive inflation. The facts about Watergate came out and Nixon’s career was over.

Obama’s second term is going to look like that Aflac duck trying to stopper all the leaks in a rowboat.
