Dick Morris, yea, throw him out. Even though I thought it was a clear Romney victory (and big one at that), I’m an amateur and He’s not.
As for Rove, he was a bit more subdued and he did engineer the W’s 8 years for us. So I give him a partial pass.
Toss Peggy Noonan and her Kindergarden gobblygook out as well.
As for Romney, though not my preferred candidate, I like the way he ran his campaign and I liked his demeanor and optimism. Even though in the end, it was violently ripped from us, he gave us a six weeks of hope.
As for the turd Chris Christie, he’s no chance for 2016. I don’t blame him or hold it against him for touring damage wrecked NJ — after all that’s what he’s supposed to do, look after his state. I blame him because his stomach eclipses his potential and would have made him a laughing stock as VP candidate and even more a laughing stock if he goes into 2016 with it.
I think Obama won this race for a whole lot of reasons that are deeper and far more serious than Chris Christie showing up with him post-Sandy.
But insofar as that is the perception....yes, Christie’s career in the Republican Party is toast.
