His first four years were mostly a bust, he offered no promises or agenda for the second fourand Barack Obama won anyway.
Go figure. Ill always be proud of my country, but Obamas victory defies political logic and economic reality. It was a stunning personal triumph for a president who was ripe for a downfall.
Now comes the hard part. The presidency is a singular institution in our democracy, and Obama too often showed himself unable to bear its unique burdens in the last four years.
He set a partisan tone right out of the gate when, in a showdown over the stimulus, he rejected Republican ideas and declared, I won. It was a moment of chest-thumping bravado that helped poison the well.
Yet he survives, even though a majority of the public still doesnt support his major achievement, ObamaCare, and the high unemployment rate has consigned millions of American families to a reduced standard of living. Annual deficits exceeding $1 trillion are a fixture of his tenure, guaranteeing that the national debt of $16 trillion will continue to grow, presumably until it explodes.

I want my free stuff.....
Over half the electorate must live in fantasy land.
As I said before, but allow me to further vent, They voted for ME and not for the good of their country. Women voted for contraceptives and to kill their babies at will, unions voted because of the auto bailout and union power, blacks voted for the obvious reason and the rest of the freeloaders voted for free stuff. And, whoever is left, voted obama because the MSM filled their head with lies and protected obama at every turn.
The pundits and the people are now assuming that evverybody in Washington will want to "get along", that the split outcome of the election will force them to adopt a bi-partisan approach in order to "get things done".
Yet, there is absolutely no history of Obama's ever operating in such a way. He has no experience in "working with others" or leading the way to consensus. He has the soul of a totalitarian -- and is more comfortable pursuing his particular agenda by diktat.
Nothing will change in this regard...
In 2006 Hillary looked like a shoo-in for the next Democratic nomination. She might be the nominee in 2016 but she will have to fight the other power-hungry narcissists in the party to get the nomination, Cuomo for one. Or maybe Michelle Obama will be the ‘Rats’ nominee.
