Sure, blame the Christians again. I know hundreds of evangelicals who could not wait to vote for Romney and against Obama.

My pastor got up the Sunday before the election day and did a sermon on how Mormanism is a cult. I am leaving this church as I think electing a Muslim is a worse sin. I was appalled

10-4. We voted for the best guy to be president. I was not electing a new pastor for my church. We voted for the person of the 2 running, that would do the best for the COUNTRY. Not for my soul. Jesus Christ has that locked up tight. And that is where I will put my faith every second of the day.

Just wait!!

Revelation 20:4 (KJV)

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Yup; I’m evangelical and, having been a seminary student and a P.K., I know hundreds of evangelicals extremely well. None that I know, except my niece, stayed home. All that I know, except my niece, voted for Romney. Niece didn’t like Romney; he wasn’t the perfect candidate. There’s an old saying that “’Perfect’ is the enemy of ‘good’.” Compared with Hussein, Romney was good enough.

Evangelicals need to understand the history of the Constitution and what most evangelicals believed in the 1700s. Probably the most influential Baptists in American history was John Leland, a colleague of James Madison. Leland was excited that the Constitution provided so much personal liberty for the citizenry, and so much religious freedom for Americans, that he was cool with the concept that a person of any faith, or an atheist, could be president. And it’s true. I’d vote for an atheist who’d be a strict Constitutionalist before a Baptist with an agenda to mess with our religious freedom.

These tight-ass whack jobs who’d rather have Hussein turn America into a Socialist or Muslim country than Romney need to be very ashamed of themselves. Piss on those who voted for Gary Johnson, or Goode, or whomever. I hope their kids look precious in burquas.
