Romney did not shore up his base. But it was more than evangelicals because if they stayed home 4 years ago than who stayed home this time?

Looks like a whole lot of voters stayed home.
Or perhaps a lot of Republican votes are "missing". Could it be that the real fraud was not dead voting, duplicate voting, or illegal voting, but instead reducing Romney votes through lost ballots, broken voting machines, and voter intimidation?
They haven’t come close to counting or reporting all the votes. It will be weeks, and the final totals will be millions higher than what you see.
I don’t expect the total to match 2008, but I guess it could.

Yes they did. The Republican party is not good at getting out the vote, the dims are a machine. I have talked to several conservatives this morning that are upset that Obama won and yet they did NOT vote. Not one of them I talked to said they stayed home because Romney is a Mormon, or not conservative enough. Excuses ranged from just moved didn't get re-registered- really busy, several were traveling unexpectedly and a couple are not even registered. We really need to work now to get out the vote or we will never even get a RINO elected much less a conservative.
No, I may be all wrong on this but the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam era Vets and their elder family members have or are dying off. They knew America in it's Halcyon days, understood a common culture, manners, love of country, pro-America 1st, and even with the Dem's they could pull the lever for a Reagan because he understood all I mentioned and shared those values.
Now all we got is a hip-hop sugar daddy culture of what are you going to give me, where the folks I mentioned above worked for things..
We are now a culture where Beyonce and Jay-Z are kings and queens rather than a Jimmy Stewart who flew a airplane through an open hangar @ breakfast time...
