Tonight, I wish we had lost the house also. Things are going to get very bad in America, regardless. The public is unable to assess blame unless one party is in control. Without empirical clarity that the dominant party’s political philosophy is the cause of our problems, we will not be able to resolve those problems.

I am not saying to be rude, but a majority of the public does not give a damn about anyone else but themselves. They vote on the basis of what’s in it for me. They don’t think about my children, your children, or our grandchildren. If we did, we would not have our current debt and we would act like responsible adults. We have become an entitlement society and we don’t care if our kids and grandkids have to pay for it. We are going to get ours! The politicians promised.

I sat here tonight and could not figure this election out because I was raised as a mom and apple pie American. I try to help my neighbors, friends, and family. I believe in service and served.

Like others, I realized tonight that we live in a new America and the sooner we all comprehend that the better off we will be. Liberals preach about service and many of them do serve - but the margin of victory for the DNC is usually found in the moocher vote and they serve themselves. The DNC redistributes money from the productive to the moochers in return for votes and it’s very effective. The GOP will never be able to capture the moochers.

Mark Steyn had it right. It really is about demographics and the DNC understands this. Their principles are the progressive agenda. The GOP will never get even 5% of the 47% Romney mentioned.

The beginning of the end.
