Obama Wins New Term as Electoral Advantage Holds

Barack Hussein Obama was re-elected president of the United States on Tuesday, overcoming powerful economic headwinds, a lock-step resistance to his agenda by Republicans in Congress and an unprecedented torrent of advertising as a divided nation voted to give him more time.

In defeating Mitt Romney, the president carried Wisconsin, Iowa, New Hampshire, Colorado and Virginia and was holding on to a narrow advantage in Ohio and Florida. The path to victory for Mr. Romney narrowed as the night wore along, with Mr. Obama steadily climbing toward the 270 electoral votes needed to win a second term.

Mr. Obama’s re-election extended his place in history, carrying the tenure of the nation’s first black president into a second term. His path followed a pattern that has been an arc to his political career: faltering when he seemed to be at his strongest — the period before his first debate with Mr. Romney — before he redoubled his efforts to lift himself and his supporters to victory.

I don’t see how he won colorado, I saw far more Romney signs than Obama signs, I guess WHO counts the votes counts more than who actually votes...

It’s painfully evident that the Democrats have at long last simply purchased the United States government lock, stock, and barrel with funds stolen from the American people.

The economy - already a shambles - will now only grow worse as businesses fail left and right.

As the government’s bills grow increasingly impossible to pay, taxes will increase and oppressive legislation on everything become more and more onerous.

There are simply no words to express how repulsive has been the American electorate on this day.

Four more years of this fool in the White House, and America as we’ve known it for two centuries will no longer be recognizable.

We are now headed far in the direction of European-style Marxist government.

There is no way humanly possible to quantify how depressed I am right now.

Yes, the American people deserve what they’re getting, but unfortunately for the intelligent and sane segment of the population, we are stuck going along for the ride.

And the next four years and beyond is going to be a very nasty ride, indeed.

Thanks to socialist rags like the ny times and the government controlled lame stream, slobbering love affair with obama, socialist media for seeing, speaking and hearing no evil about obama and the millions of zombies who rolled out of their food-stamp induced comas to cast their vote for bigger government and more handouts.

To any and all left wing socialist media... I spit in your face !!!!
