People didn’t get to see what Obama is really like because
1) most of Obamacare wasn’t implemented
2) GOP house in 2010 softened the blow
3) Obama didn’t want to risk everything to ruin his re-election chances.

That (harsher energy regulations) is just the tip of the iceberg.
Leaving the planet is not an option, what country on the globe is?

Keep in mind that most "energy-saving regulations" are being pushed by industries that benefit greatly from them -- and I don't mean these silly alternative energy companies, either. For example, some of the strongest supporters of the Obama administration's stricter diesel emission standards were
truck manufacturers. The reason for this should be obvious: the stricter standards force trucking companies to buy new trucks with new engines within a certain period of time. Basically, the truck manufacturing industry uses the new emission standards to artificially stimulate demand that wouldn't otherwise exist.
I'm sure you'll find that the same is true for these stupid regulations that apply to industrial boilers. This is nothing more than state-sponsored corporate fascism.

I am wondering what will happen to all my friends when the coal fired power plants close because of Obama. I retired from a coal fired power plant 4 years ago last month and could not believe what happened in 2008. Now a repeat on 2012.

Exactly right, good points. Crony capitalism is part of the downfall of America. I can't envision a way back to limited government.

They are going to have a special good time in the coal areas, like WV and PA.
WV, my heart goes out to you. The idiotic electorate has done you dirty, by voting in your enemy.
PA, I doubt you are smart enough even to understand what you’ve done to yourselves.

Take it back. Why let them have my country? I have nowhere else to go. I don’t want to go anywhere else. The line is drawn where I stand.
