Personally, I fooled myself into believing the state polls were wrong and biased.. I was wrong. I listened to the echo chamber. The bottom line is that the pigs have won. A once virtuous nation has elected and reelected Clinton and Obama. The pigs now hold a slight but real majority. Ben Franklin once said “We have given you a republic, if you can keep it” The inherent flaw of every democracy be it Athens, Rome, Florence. Hanover , modern day Europe or America, is that lowlifes outnumber the virtuous and eventually destroy political entities. There will always be lowlifes like Obama and Clinton, and the people who elected them. Far better for the virtuous to concentrate on their own personal lives, families and local communities.

I remember how disappointed I was when Bob Dole lost. He was a really good man, in my view a better man than any of the Republican presidential candidates than we have had since. It’s pathetic, but as you say, we’ve been through it before.I was thinking back to 1980, the first presidential election I voted in, and the way Reagan won in a landslide and it was all over by 8 p.m. eastern. Obama has succeeded in dividing the country. The only way the GOP will ever win the presidency again is to draw VERY CLEAR lines about why the GOP is a better choice. And the GOP must work to reach out to everyone in order to do that. It isn’t just about immigration, abortion, or any other one issue. There will always be hard-liners on any particular issue, and I count myself among them. But Romney failed to excite people. That’s the bottom line. And until the repubicans can manage to do it, they won’t win.
There won’t be any coming back from this. By 2016, even if a Republican wins the race, the economy will be in such a mess that he will simply be unable to fix it.
We had our chance this time - we failed. Obama now has his mandate to finish what he started.

Benghazi, gun walking, Sandy, many criminal offenses, and the economic failure of this administration should have ended this presidency if just one was reported fairly and objectively.
But God is in control. This is His judgment on our wicked nation. He will take care of those who mourn the murder, theft, perversion and idolatry that has filled our land. The vitriolic left will continue to push their fascism, and Obama will lead them.
We are left to decide whether to flee or fight. Either way we know our nation is on a path to destruction, and we must prepare to protect and provide for our loved ones.
Something to keep in mind, folks, is now dear leader and his useful idiots will have no excuse, no justification when things finally crash...and they will under dear leader’s economic stupidity.
Yeah, Obama might go the dictator route when that happens, but so what? He won’t have anything close to the blind loyalty and admiration the Germans gave Hitler (mainly because there will be no nationalistic zeal in his actions), and even as a dictator, he’ll be shouldering the burden of keeping his followers happy, and nothing can make the irrational work.
I’m as disappointed as anyone over this, but what would you rather have? Things crashing because of four years of democrat leadership under Romney and Republicans getting all the blame, probably leading to them never stepping foot in the White House for who knows how long? Or things crashing under the party that kicked out the foundation and them not having any way to escape the blame that rightly rests with them?
Right now, the thing to do is to keep fighting, to continue to stand for individual rights, to keep the spark alive. The world does not run on collectivism and sacrifice; it runs on individual rights and freedom, and we need to make certain that they will still be around when the looter’s society collapses.
America was built from scratch once when the idea of individual liberty was new and had everything against it. It can be built again when the idea is much, much more recognized.
If we want to turn this country around, we have four years to change the laws for the welfare states. Mandatory drug tests for anyone receiving welfare. Positive ID for all voters to be sure they are citizens. Clean out the illegal immigrants.

Being Argentina is permanent, it seems. I’ll never forget how on William F. Buckley’s TV show on PBS back in the 80s an Argentinian guest warned that this was where the country was heading. William F, leaned back in his chair as was his habit, you waited when he would fall back, and dismissed the warning as was his other habit. Don’t compare us to Greece or Spain, which were never powerhouses, we are witnessing the Argentina Syndrome. Don’t cry for us, Argentina!
