A friend at my brothers asked something like “So what do you think God wants us to learn from this?” I said discipline. And for us to rely on Him more.

I was going to say more but deleted it, and just leave it at that. Take a day to rest, pray, and plan ahead a bit. We’ve got a pretty good idea what’s coming down the pike so will want to plan for that.

Really it makes little difference as far as what any conservative should be doing. We must continue to stand against the tyranny of socialism, try to educate those who have been indoctrinated into the cult of ignorance, defend our country, our morals and our Constitution.

We have to keep on, keeping on.

It is kind of like my Measure of a Man principle.

The measure of a man isn't his wealth, his appearance, how he speaks or his social standing.

The measure of a man is how he provides for his family, helps his neighbors and takes care of himself.

By doing those things to the best of his ability he fulfills God's Plan.
