Not only did Allen West lose, Alan Grayson is back. God help us! (Literally.) There must be something in the water down there in Florida.
To add insult to injury, I stopped in Wal-Mart this morning, and was stuck in line behind an able-bodied young woman with 30 items in the 20-item-or-less line, the only one open at 6:40 this morning. Her bill was $93, and she of course paid with foodstamps, which we are subsidizing, thanks to our Foodstamp President.
Hear hear. Everytime others not as informed start talking about racism against Barry, we counter it with Alan West. And none of them know who he is.
I really do feel sick now. Allen West is brilliant; Ahwen Gwaaysin (phonetic lisp) is beyond an idiot.
I wonder what market will do, and how many layoffs in next month...trimming the payrolls before ObamaCare hits.

I made the mistake of going to FB. With all sincerity, I stopped posting alot of the political stuff awhile back. But the cyber high fives (congrats from knuckle dragging red PA to Elizabeth Warren! A “friend” who I I friended posted).
For me, I won’t forget the idiocy. Just don’t want to encounter then in real life either.
Not looking forward to the libs in the office coming in to gloat.
By this time next week my FB account will be deactivated. I won’t do it now because it looks like sour grapes but it’s something I’ve been meaning to do.

I’m considering taking mine down. Kind of hate to because of all the info that different sources provide. But anything I share is pretty much preaching to the choir for some, and being ignored by others I hope to inform.
Funny you two should mention that. I’ve been considering it myself. Most of my family just doesn’t care. I don’t ‘friend’ too many people. How does one shut down a FB account anyway? I’ll be happy to share my e-mail address with my Freeper FB buds, ‘just in case’.
Just my 2 cents...I don’t think I’m deactivating...just because it is a secondary way to get in touch. I’m just going to unfriend a bunch of idiots.

You can deactivate a FB account but it never really goes away. I deactivate mine on occasion, but anytime I type in the email and password it comes up.
Sometimes I think the Tea Party ought to just infiltrate the Democrat Party and start running candidates as Democrats. /kinda sarcastic

That article summed up a lot of the feelings today. Quinn read an email from a private school concerning diversity. I taught in a private Chrisitan school for ten years. I am fb friends and noticed many of them voted Democrat. They have been schooled in Biblical values and yet...and yet...
I keep telling myself to look up, our redemption draws near.
I’ll email you the instructions. Right now I forget the exact proceedure but it’s basically go to settings in FB (upper right) select desctivate account, check a box to keep geting mail or not, tthen “deactivate” and follow a couple of prompts.
Scarey thing is even though your sccount is deactivated FB dtill keeps your info and past posts IIRC. You can actually later go back and reactivate it.
It’s like you can never fullly leave. I hate social media!
I checked out the “Catholic Answers” forum. Most of the people on there were vehemently in favor of Romney, but a few are die-hard dims. Go figure. Anyway, one of the obama supporters was cheering and said that we should be focused on ‘social justice’ instead of the economy. I almost posted something about social justice being a Marxist concept, but figured I’d get banned.
I checked out the “Catholic Answers” forum. Most of the people on there were vehemently in favor of Romney, but a few are die-hard dims. Go figure. Anyway, one of the obama supporters was cheering and said that we should be focused on ‘social justice’ instead of the economy. I almost posted something about social justice being a Marxist concept, but figured I’d get banned.

It is as if there is a veil over the eyes of many people. I turned on “The View” today. I cannot watch it but every once in a while I want to hear how certain things are handled. They were discussing the future of the Republican party and an ABC commentator named Dowd said, and I loosely quote: “The Republican Party is “Mad Men” party in a “Modern Family” world.”
I don’t understand the hate here for Sarah???

It has been that kind of day! I don’t think the Republican Party is what is changing as much as the demographics of the country. Everybody belongs to some minority group (single women/LGBT/hispanics/etc) and they all vote Democrat. Republicans say “We don’t care what group you belong to-we want to help you achieve and be self sufficient” That message no longer resonates. Democrats say “because you are a protected/minority class, you need our help and here is what we can give you”. That is the new America. PS-I don’t hate Sarah at all. :)
