DeWine, AG of Ohio told FBN today’s votes are just being counted. The Obama number advantage comes from early voting ballots expected to be predominantly Obama’s. If it is very close after they compute today’s ballots then they will have to wait until the 17th to count the provisional ballots and there are 350,000 of those.

We still have scenarios left to bring the win, but won’t know tonight. Going to bed tonight leaves Obama with a hair from 270 but not getting there.

Romney has lost ground and Obama has taken the lead. So it’s looking like we did lose it.

Fox is calling WI for Obama but they only have 35% counted. It must be the heavy Democrat precincts that are unreported.

Okay so it changed in less than an hour. Only 37% reporting and we have no idea what counties they are counting. That makes a big difference. Can’t call WI yet. Can’t call OH or FL or VA either.

WI was once part of MI and is liberal despite the 2010 aberration.

Between them, the two candidates raised at least $65 million. Thompson conceded the race at around midnight.

Baldwin’s victory is another blow to Republicans, who needed to make a net gain of four seats to take a majority in the U.S. Senate. Instead, Democrats took over hotly contested Republican seats in Massachusetts and Indiana while holding on to most of the states they already had, including
