But I certainly didn't know who would win this time and never claimed i did.

Me too, but I still can't understand that many voting for O.

Can I give you a snapshot from my polling station today?

Yes, it was in CA, but still I think it's instructive.

Right outside the 100 ft. perimeter of the polling place: a car parked with a "Vote Democratic" bumper sticker.

The young woman behind me in line, wearing a button -- a GOP symbol with a cross bar superimposed on it -- "It's OK," she explained to a bystander, "it's not a candidate, so I can wear this."

This same young woman said she worked for Planned Parenthood.

Ahead of me in line: the neighborhood imbecile, who asked me "Are you here to vote?" in a loud voice. No dear, I'm there to play pinochle.

This same guy said "I haven't done this [voting] for four years. I've forgotten what it's like."

This guy and the PP girl joked about how you should "vote early and vote often."

OK, it's CA, and CA went for BO, but maybe this gives you an idea.

RE :” But I certainly didn’t know who would win this time and never claimed i did.

Mitt never had the electoral count in polls.

Let me take a quick wag, go easy on me please :) :

1) Safe strategy and wishful thinking, at the end Mitt was agreeing with O more than disagreeing.(I saw this as a danger sign) He acted like its an easy win. And the economy in the recent months, all that counts, appeared to be slowly improving. Then you got the hurricane

1b) O at the end went on attack rallying all his various victim groups to the polls.

2) Huge demo graphic changes largely do to immigration, nonwhites
So Obama was generally personally liked more than disliked. I know hating him can cloud sights but if you want to see you have be willing to open your eyes. Romney tried to be like-able to compete,

3)Rs took over the house and just looked stupid. It was near pointless.

Speaking of #3. Is that a$$wipe Bitch McConnell going to resign NOW since he said his #1 goal is to make O a one term POTUS? Or will the stupid party rally behind him? Boehner needs to go with him.
