According to CNNs first exit polls, nationwide 60 percent of voters see the economy as the most important issue in the election. Only 4 percent thought foreign policy was most important.
Nationwide, CNN says, exit polls showed the 51 percent believe Mitt Romney would be best at handling the economy and 47 percent think President Obama would do better.
In the battleground state of Virginia, according to CNN exit polls, 49 percent of voters wanted to see the presidents healthcare plan ObamaCare repealed, while 46 percent did not want to see it repealed.
Also in Virginia, exit polls showed that 53 percent of voters thought Romney would better handle the economy.

What is the percentage of people that think a “right to abortion” is the number one priority for the millions of people out of work?
Only 4 percent thought foreign policy was most important.
Explains why Romney did not make a big issue out of Libya at the debates..
Seems like Romney did nearly everything right in this campaign's end game, and yet here we are at the razor's edge of victory or defeat. So much for my 90 minute bike ride calming my nerves down.
CNN?
And what is it that we know about CNN?
Bamabi is all wee-wee-ed up right now!!!!
The democrats are creating dependency. Honestly, I sometimes wonder if our nation is headed towards falling apart because I see the divides growing.
I’m so nervous about this election. If Romney cannot pull this off, which republican can?
.....there’s that 47% again...
I wonder if Dead Fish will even bother to show up at Ozero’s pity party down at McCormick Place.
Dead Fish hates a LOOOOOOSER!! because it’s hard to wash the stink off.
He tried to run away to Chicago, but he owns this too.
I just saw an exit poll on FoxBiz that said more people blame the economy on Bush than Obama. LOL
Will anyone in either party have the guts to outlaw the release of exit polls until all the polls in the country are closed. They are used to make decisions on how people may have voted, what issues were more important than others, how certain groups voted, etc.
They are now being used to try and predict outcome, affect the morale of one group over another. It’s against the law to campaign at a polling station, even wear a candidates hat or button to a polling station. Why the hell do we allow the early release of exit polls? They serve a purpose, but they are not meant to be used on the day of the election to try and influence people.
In keeping with CNN tradition, this was a D+49 sample.
Yeah i had to talk the wife off the proverbial ledge today a couple of times..
Personally as the evening wears on i think Romney will have a landslide victory..
Apparently, Romney’s internal poll has Obama winning Ohio by 5%
Sounds like an exit poll of only Democrats. Remember Fox’s polls have been over sampling Democrats by a wide margin. Totally unreliable.
LOL
Or Romney voters pulling the exit pollers' legs.
“If Romney cannot pull this off, which republican can?”
My concern exactly. Romney is uniquely qualified for the today’s big issues, the economy and the federal debt. Obama is obviously a failure. With what we know of Benghazi, he is a flagrant liar. And yet it is a close election. How can this be? Are we beyond the point of no return? Is the country doomed to long-term secular decline? Or outright collapse?

Being a conservative and all, I favor the “personal responsibility” approach.
When will voters perform a cranial-rectal extraction and learn to vote their conscience without regard to exit polls?
