PITTSBURGH Mitt Romneys campaign always makes his arrivals in various cities known to the local media, and in turn the public, but never before has a crowd of this size shown up to greet him. Upon landing here in Pittsburgh, Romneys aides appeared shock as they crowded around the windows to check out the crowd. And Romney was visibly moved at the site of the crowd, hundreds of supporters crammed into a parking structure just outside the airport. Check the ABC News Live Blog for updates throughout the day and results all night. Romney deplaned and walked toward a fence that separated him from the crowd, packed onto two levels of the garage. He waved to the group with his left hand and placed his right hand over his heart for several minutes as they cheered. Asked by ABC News how it felt to receive such a welcome, Romney turned and responded, Thats when you know youre gonna win.

not trying to be a wet blanket, but I don't see this tweet on his official page
From an Australian...thanks for the wonderful posting!
My heart goes out to all republicans.
Everything but the kitchen sink was thrown at this mighty man by the media but that moment made it all worthwhile.
The old quote still stands;
“ Puppies can only walk on footpaths, but tough ole dawgs can walk on rocky roads.”
God bless the USA today.
I despised the man when he first came to my attention during the passing of Romneycare.
And I was disappointed he was the nominee.
And I disagree with many of his positions.
But even if he loses today I will love him until my dying day for one reason: coming to the first debate 100% prepared for any question, behaving like a gentleman and proceeding to take that worthless son-of-a-bitch Obama by the scruff of the neck and humiliate him live, in front of the entire nation.

I’m with you. He ran a campaign after winning the nomination, based on love of country, caring for people that are hurting and being positive that he truly can help turn this ship around.
As you said, I didn’t like him, didn’t want him as nominee and disagree with quite a few of his policies. But we need to leave this nightmare behind and I think he was the one to do it. *crossing my fingers that he wins*
Well said.
Perhaps he will win.
And do a good job.
I think Pittsburgh is looking not too bad for Romney at all.
I just got back from voting, no line, walked right on up to the table.
Certainly good news as my voting precinct went 70% for Obama in 08 (9th Ward, City of Pittsburgh).
When you want the very best.
I pray that he wins and does well.....
Tonight is the night that Romney will be on his way to being the 45th President of the United States of America.
If this is true, and I have no reason to doubt this member, get ready!
Romney can get thousands to a parking garage near the airport. Obama can’t even fill an arena with a free Springsteen concert.
If true I am going to cry. It will be the first time my vote for President has ever counted in this state.
I hope so
I didn’t see that twitter but I did see one where Bidens making calls in Pittsburg for more votes.
I don’t see that tweet...?
Oh you describe my sentiment! I have really watched this man and believe he will work for America. Having said that, I will go back to my statement when he first became the Republican Candidate. " I will vote for him, and then hold his feet to the fire."
