Well picked stocks and these aren’t Intrade - there is very, very real money at stake for these companies (particularly JRCC) in the election. Nice post.
We lose : )
I thought about buying coal stocks today. But realized that 0 still has three months in office and the EPA has regulations ready to go right after the election that will close down all new coal plants. It will take years to undo those regulations—every change in the correct direction will be subject to litigation.
health insurance stocks as well...they go down good for Romney and the country...they rise- bad news for America....
JRCC up 2.13% as of 4:42p
FSLR up .04% as of 4:52p
I don’t own those stocks. /s
We’re winning...
Youth vote down for Obama.
Female vote down for Obama.
Black vote down for Obama.
Independent vote down for Obama.
Democrat vote down for Obama.
Democrat turnout way down for Obama.
Republican turnout way up for Romney.
Not one single segment of McCain’s vote is down since 2008.
BTW: As of noon the total vote in L.A. Country down by 9 to 11%. I saw the figures a minute ago, but can’t remember if the difference was one more or one less than the 10% mark. It was 1% off.
Being a Liberal bastion, that doesn’t bode well for the Democrats and their initiatives. Just hope San Francisco region is going the same way. And also, I hope the Conservative regions of the state are voting in large numbers. California could look very interesting tonight and tomorrow morning.
The trend in liberal cities is down across the board.
Looking hopeful.
No lines at all in south Glendale / Tropico
Maybe Obama can get a magic carpet ride from his Arab buds, and fly out after the results are in.
Gore will give him a job.
