“They are crazy if they think the country will elect another Bush. Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake was HW. Ugh.”

That’s true. But, he was smart to ask him to be the VP at the time, given the circumstances in the country.

The fact is that we haven’t had a conservative on the ballot since 1984.

In the recent elections, they gave us McCain, and then Romney. It’s not surprising that many conservatives weren’t able to fathom the moderate Romney in the general election, nor is it surprising that they stayed home.

I hope this expected win/stunning loss will push a lot of the supposed political “brainiacs” out the door.

When conservatism is well articulated, it wins every time.

Hubby and I were eating out tonight and were sitting in the bar area. This stupid restaurant had one television set to MSNBC. Ugh!!! I was going to ask them to change the channel to ESPN or somewhere else, but I was afraid they might spit in my food or something so I tried to ignore it. Anywho, lo and behold if MSNBC did not start running a hit piece on the 20+year dead Lee Atwater. I thought it was funny at first because I said to hubby last week that we need another Lee Atwater to run things for a while. And then I started asking hubby about him since he is older than I am and was more politically conscious during the later Reagan years. Hubby had to tell me about Atwater’s brilliance and also tell me about the amazing Evelyn McPhail.
