Press Gaggle by Jay Carney aboard Air Force One en route Columbus, OH, 11/5/2012

... MS. PSAKI: Oh, one thing to add -- I'm sorry, I forgot to mention this. I know you all are very focused on the vote totals as they're adding up on Tuesday. I would caution you that California, rural communities, many parts of this country where it takes a little longer are going to come in a little later. I don't know how that's all going to pan out. But just a piece to as you look ahead tomorrow evening and you're watching the vote totals.

Q: The Obama campaign has doubts about California?

Probably worried about the House and CA state races, although CA is solidly DEM in both. I think there is a real concern they may actually lose a few more seats in the House.

And FUBO is worried about House races? When he’s gone it won’t matter!

I am worried about our rep, Mary Bono Mack, as there are now more Democrats registered in her district. (113 I think)

I just voted! Picked up my friend who lives down the street and went. Right in front of us two big black mamas with their babies. We looked at each other and said....well, it’s a cancel. Lol. In California that is all we can hope to do, cancel a few Obama votes.

I’m a third generation Californian. I have seen the state go from dependable conservative to nutty liberal. I still hold out hope for California.

My kids have left the state. I recently made the decision to move out of San Diego ( my birth place) to a rural part of the state. For you who don’t know, there is a lot of rural area in California and they are mostly conservative.

I grudgingly accept our taxes paying for the pResident riding in Air Force One free (it belongs to we, the people, not him; but I highly object to it being used to shuttle others receiving the service.

My husband and I traveled up and down the state after his retirement; we found northern California an entirely different atmosphere from the San Diego area our son and his wife lived in. Even enjoyed the people there!!

Maybe he’s lived in CA where the election is called before people get done voting, so sometimes people don’t go out to vote at the last minute. This could affect the other ballot measures and candidates races.
