If you want to understand what's going on in Philadelphia and why it was so important for Democrats to kick Republican poll watchers out of the polling locations before they could look at anything, read this first-hand account by a Democrat poll watcher, written in 2000, about what she experiened during the 1976 Democrat primary at a polling station in South Philadephia.

How is it that there has never been this kind of fraud in favor of Republicans? Coincidence?

This is why it is so important for every pro Romney registered voter to vote. To carry the day he will need a lot of “insurance votes” to make up for the illicit votes cast for Obama via their so called ground-game.

So now we know why the inspectors were kicked out in Philadelphia today as before polls opened. They obviously had pre-rigged vote totals in the machines before opening that they didn't want seen. Once people start voting they can't separate what was on the machines from what the current running total is once the place opened. It's a way to steal votes in other Pennsylvania polling places within the heavily backed Obama precincts. They are trying to offset the legitimate votes in other cities in the state.

We keep missing the bigger issue....why do they cheat? Why do Democrats spend millions of dollars and cheat for these measly government jobs? For the bucks? Good grief, Paleface Lizzy Warren made over $350,000 in one year for teaching one class at Harvard. Who gives up a sweet gig like that for Senator’s pay? They have to be elected because THAT IS WHERE THE REAL MONEY TO BE STOLE IS. Rob a bank and you might get shot. Rob the public treasury and get re-elected. Politics isn’t some cross-town high school football game for the Democrats. Politics is where fortunes are made for them. They’ll do anything to win.

When I worked for Nixon-Lodge in 1959-60 in Cook County (IL), I could tell you stories of what I saw going on at Kennedy-Johnson HQ and CC voting stations, that make this pale in comparison. This stuff is SOP for dems. The newspapers/TV were in on it, even way back then. Nothing’s changed; other than it’s more subtle and refined.

As far as I'm concerned this story is hardly newsworthy. It may have shocked the young lady working for Carter, but the truth is that those old lever voting machines (or at least I think they are extinct by now in most jurisdictions) were very much vulnerable to exactly the kind of fraud she described. I know of one Republican who ran for office in a big city using that type of machine and who knew for a fact that extra votes were put on at least one machine for his 'Rat opponent before the polls even opened: the exact same trick described here.
