Not merely voting for who has best chance of winning. Cast my vote for the one closest to my views. And Akin is FAR closer to my views than Mother McCaskill.
I was a $trong Steelman supporter. But she lost. I would have voted for Brunner second, even though he spent $9 million of his own $ to destroy Steelman. But he lost. Akin was the one left standing.
As far as Romney? He was not even on my radar screen a year ago. I voted for Santorum. But Romney won so I voted for him. But he doesn't make me warm all over. But Romney is one hell of a lot better than the Imposter from Mombasa...
