Today is a turning point for the country. The pendulum has swung to the left and the liberals tried to drag it even farther. It will swing to the right with great speed.

” the tiny town of Dixville Notch, NH cast the first votes on November 6th, as residents split the tallies evenly among the two candidates. The tally was five votes for the challenger, five votes for the incumbent. Barack Obama won the village by nine votes four years ago.”

However, the Balsam’s Hotel has been closed for renovations now for almost a year. The Balsam’s IS Dixville Notch. All 10,000 acres. There were formerly 30+ voters. Now only 10. Most of the employees are gone. There is only a skeleton crew on site. I would not use it as a bellweather for this reason alone.

Just a feel thing, but when I was inside the polling station this morning, I could tell the Dem workers from the Repub workers. The Dem workers all looked worried and downcast, while the Repub workers looked upbeat and energized.
