You were there at the same time. If you saw a blonde guy with a flat top haircut in a tie that was him.

This is my first time voting there. Used to live in North Apollo. There was never a line there, regardless of time of day. Frankly I’d walk over hot coals to vote today. Can’t wait!

Just back from Bible study (much needed & uplifting) and voting. We’re in Bucks County (Philly suburb). Very mixed-bag neighborhood, older Irish & Italian Catholics, middle-aged empty nesters and younger families evenly divided.

We were just redistricted & 2 precincts share the same building, no line for my side, short line (4 or 5 people?) in the other, but with steady movement in and out, I was not asked for ID (showed it anyway). I was #207 or so, which seemed high but not exceptionally so, I usually vote at about the same time every year.

Our Bible Study is held where there is also a voting place, for NE Philly. I did not see any lines, not a lot of activity, only a few older folks & couples in the parking area. As we were leaving, a teamster guy was taping up some Obama signs, but it seemed fairly dead otherwise there.

Said a quick but heartfelt prayer in the voting booth and proudly pressed the button :)

Took my mom to vote this morning at around 10:00 in Macungie (Lehigh County). She was number 401.
No long lines but they did have about 8 machines and only 2 Voter Access Cards that they would allow at a time. Strange.

My husband and I voted in Upper Milford Township (Lehigh County) at around 11:00. Conservative area. Long lines. I forgot to see what number I was duh...

Proud to report that no Black Panther would dare show up at our polling place. I feel sorry for the people in Philly not allowed to carry.

Pittsburgh suburb of Sharpsburg. Voted at about 7:30. Never voted that early before in PA but polling place was pretty much empty. This is a very Democratic area. Only 2 other voters when I was there. Usually there are several Democrats outside electioneering but none when I was there. Not sure if this indicates lack of enthusiam or just because I was there earlier than I usually am.

I will be walking back down this afternoon with Mrs. Jaxter when she gets home from work. The polls weren't open when she left this morning. I was a little worried that I would have some problems 'cause this is the first time I've voted since switching my party affiliation from Republican to Independent. No problems though, and I was in and out in less than 4 minutes.

Just voted in Audubon in Montgomery County. Was shocked! No line, no nothing. I spoke to GOP team outside. No one. If this is our turnout Romney is in big trouble. Maybe it will pick up in the evening. Could be too late by then.

>”One of the officiating ladies said “we don’t need to see your ID”, whereupon I politely stated, in a clear full voice “Yes you do .. I’m (tomkat) and I’m proud to show my eligibility to vote for President Romney”<

I’m sure any Democrat within ear shot peed their pants just a little bit when you did that. LOL

In line at 6:45am in western Philly suburbs (Chester County) -- even so, was the 79th vote cast. Relatively quiet and purposeful crowd, although I chatted with neighbors who were sharing O fail stories. Then there was an annoying guy who complained loudly that the L-Z line was shorter than the A-K line and that election team should not be pulling L-Z folks from back of line to go ahead of him . . . (likely Dem).

Line about 75-100 when I left and people still pulling in to (full) lot and turning around to park at nearby park and walk. Strong R precinct.

My daughter just voted here in Delmont (Westmoreland Cty)(at about 12:45) and reports that 34% of the registered voters have cast ballots already. It is not unheard of to have as little as 25% turnout over the entire day for this precinct (East Manordale). This precinct, as mentioned earlier, is Republican.

I am in Bucks County, and when I voted (about 10 minutes ago) I heard the woman at the door say to the other workers, “Wow, there’s lots, and lots, and lots of people today!” So there’s high turnout.

Weird as it sounds I’m hoping for a long line when I get there around 4:30. Have been listening to Rush today and as he says today turnout is everything.

Thanks for the update.

Voted around 2:30pm in Harrisburg area (Lower Paxton township). No waiting in line. GOP worker outside told me turnout has been light today. Said we need to keep the Philadelphia margin down to 400,000 to win the state.

I was the 568th voter out of 1080 by this afternoon in Middle Paxton twshp, Dauphin County. The majority of the patients I had today were Romney supporters.

Two coworkers were planning on voting for Obama but they are both stupid. One claimed all republicans are dicks and doesn’t care if women are raped. The other is just a plain old dyed in the wool democrat. Hopefully she forgets and wanders back to her shack.

My voting experience really won’t be indicative of anything, but I will happily share.

Stopped in just before 9am, no line.. Chatted a bit with the poll workers (all neighbors), voted, headed to work.

My polling place only supports our local community of ~500 total residence, so its never busy, and always a civil affair. Sometimes there will be a neighbor or two outside handing out leaflets, usually its a neighbor who is actually on the ballot for a local office (school board and the like), but this election no local offices were up, so no one handing out leaflets.

All and all a civil and quiet affair. Community is a small mostely white collar neighborhood in the Pittsburgh Suburbs. I know some of my neighbors are liberal democrats and others are Conservative Republicans. What I can say that this cycle seems to have had a lot more civility in general. In 2008 even in the summer while the pool was still open Liberal Democrats were openly saying some very nasty and mean things about John McCain. This summer, the election didn’t come up.

I think the Obama supports in the neighborhood like myself know he’s lost. Really haven’t had many political conversations with my neighbors of either persuation in last few months.. have had plenty with others, but in the interest of neighborhood civility have left the topic for them to bring up if they care to.

Last cycle some of the Dem neighbors were downright beligerent for months about the election.. crickets chirping mostly this year.

Voted late afternoon in Mt Lebanon in Pittsburgh So Hills.

Was told over 1000 voted already out of about 1200 registered.

This is usually heavily Democrat area.

Lady doing exit polls for networks told me so far she believed results were dead even.
