Christie has the emotional maturity of a teenager. He cries after a telephone conversation with an aging pop star? He has seen "hundreds of Springsteen's concerts"?

About three minutes of Springsteen's "music" and "singing" at some big football game half-time was ALL I could take.

If Christie decides to switch parties, he should be reminded that political jumpers are nevermore trusted by either side, ever.

Quit worshipping celebrities. They are usually nothing but pea brains.

There are people hurting all across the country as well as the many in NJ after the storm. Yet Christie “weeps” over a call from a over the hill rock star. What a star struck boot licker.

I remember when a boat load of Freepers wanted Chris to run for president. Knee jerking is what got us in this mess with Obama. Folks news to vote with their head, not their emotions.

The famously liberal Springsteen ..
The 'Boss' is also 'famously untalented'. His guitar playing stinks, it's amateurish to say the least. Watch any video, it's all: down 1,2,3,4. down 1,2,3,4. down 1,2,3,4 - gag! .. and people mocked Elvis - Ha!.

All, or 'most', of his songs are three chord songs in the Key of E in the I, IV, V progression, one of the easiest there is to play: E, A, B (or B7). As such his 'E Street Band' should have been named the 'E String Band' (/s). Yeah he can play a few licks, whoopee, so can any beginning student after a few lessons. His now departed Horn Player was the one with talent and who made that band.

The only good thing about him is his Fender 'Esquire' guitar (The predecessor to the Fender Telecaster) and is worth its weight in gold. And his only really good song was his first hit: Born To Run.

Well what did you expect from this crazy sob after THIS??

Chris Christie goes berserk when criticised about appointing a Muslim judge:

“Sharia Law has nothing to do with this at all, it’s crazy!” he cried. “The guy is an American citizen!” He concluded that the “Sharia Law business is just crap… and I’m tried of dealing with the crazies,” adding with disgust and frustration that “it’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background.”

Wow, this thread’s getting tough on a guy who’d record so far in NJ is nothing short of amazing. On top of that, his state is in big troble, and he announced TO EVERYBODY that he could give a rip about the election at this point.

He’s got people in the cold right now, FEMA’s completely let him down, and he’s got union thugs turning away non-union crews trying to help get the lights back on.

He probably hasn’t slept in a while, to boot.

I grew up idolizing Springsteen too. I haven’t bought any of his stuff since Tunnel of Love, which was pretty weak too.

Christie is being a Jersyite first, and a politician second. Springsteen’s a washed up hack, but then Elvis went that way too. You see the guy the way you’d like to remember him.

Not everything is about politics. I suggest the Christie-haters put a quaalude under their tongue and send up a few words to the Lord that this day turns out to be the landslide we all hope it is.

We’ll need a few more after that towards Romney being as conservative as he says he’s going to be.

Otherwise, well . . .
